Live 8: Make Poverty History

I have been watching the BBC all afternoon and the coverage has been great, the quality and just the sheer number of live acts as been amazing. Annie Lennox voice is still one of the best in the business and she plays a mean piano. Snoop Dogg sang “wave your hands in the Mutha F***ing air” live on TV at about 18:30. Jonathan Ross has been brilliantly funny with superb links. And, if you have a Digital signal and one of those 'red buttons' you can watch any of the concerts from around the world.

Now, I should be talking about Live 8 and Making Poverty History but music is my strength, not raising awareness. I will leave that to Expat Teacher and the many others that will do it better. Click here if you want to read some of Expat's posts on this subject

Let’s hope that this will not only be the greatest concert of the decade, but it will also help make a difference. If only the whole world could just
