Ode to Mac OS X Server
Now, I am Apple's biggest fan, well OK, maybe not biggest (mostly due to lack of funds, and not wanting to have a tattoo), but certainly a huge fan. I love their hardware, and their software. I love their design, and their innovation.
But, in the real world I work with OS X Server, and this year the school upgraded to Tiger Server. Which prompted this:
Ten-point-2-point-eight, was runnin' kinda great.
Ten-point-three-point-nine, was working out quite fine.
Tiger ten-point-four, is f**ked up like a whore.
In truth, I am only talking about Server Versions, I am running Tiger Standalone on an old clamshell iBook (366MHz G3, 578MB), an old Graphite iMac (600MHz G3, 320MB), and at work a PowerMac G5 (Dual 1.8GHz, 1.5GB), and I have no problems with any of these systems. Other than, the 800*600 resolution on the iBook, sucks. :(
So, roll on 10.4.3!
